Not Alarmed!

OK so i'm in over my head here...been working on this problem for a year now. Can you believe that...a year to get where i am which is nowhere.

so i bought a new home two years ago. was working in CA and living in AZ and wanted to make sure i got all the wiring upgrades i could. one of the most important ones was the pre-wire for an alarm system. paid $1,100 for that upgrade. lived in my house for nearly a year when my brother tells me that i should have wires sticking out of the window and door jambs and a few control panels. called the builder, greystone, told them of the problem, waited for them to get FIVE different vendors out to take a look to make sure there were no wires sticking out of the walls. here we are one year later and i still don't have a decision on the pre-wire/no pre-wire.

UPDATE...i guess it only takes a blog to get things done. just got off the phone with the builder and they have FINALLY agreed to put in a wireless system.
